University of Brighton

The University of Brighton is housed on four main sites, three in Brighton and one at Eastbourne. The Brighton sites comprise the Moulsecoomb buildings (Watts, Cockroft and Mithras House) on Lewes Road, the Falmer site opposite the University of Sussex, and Grand Parade, close to the Royal Pavilion.

For a full tour of each site, visit the main website for the University.

Moulsecoomb Place, now housing a social club at the University, has had many modifications over the years. At its rear is the old Hall House which dates from between 1350 and 1400 and is one of the oldest buildings in Brighton. The existing yellow brick, seven-bay house dates from the early 19th century but behind the facade is an early-18th century farmhouse, where the Prince Regent was a regular guest. The building at Grand Parade also houses the Sallis Benney Theatre and an art gallery open to the public.
